Our researchers identified Lovelypush.club as a rogue webpage during a routine examination of suspicious websites. Upon investigation, we determined that Lovelypush.club engages in browser notification spamming and redirects users to potentially dubious or malicious sites.

Most visitors to sites like Lovelypush.club are directed there via redirects originating from websites that use rogue advertising networks. It's important to note that the behavior of rogue websites, including their content and endorsements, may vary based on visitors' IP addresses.

During our investigation of Lovelypush.club, we encountered a deceptive CAPTCHA test prompting users to "Click 'Allow' if you are not a robot." Unlike similar pages, Lovelypush.club provided additional information about notification delivery, potentially reflecting a policy change by a hosting or service provider.

If a visitor is misled into clicking "Allow" to complete the fake CAPTCHA verification, they inadvertently grant Lovelypush.club permission to send browser notifications. These notifications often promote online scams, unreliable or hazardous software, and may even distribute malware.

How Can You Spot a Fake Anti-Bot Check?

To spot a fake anti-bot check and avoid falling victim to deceptive tactics used by rogue websites, consider the following tips:

Unusual or Suspicious Prompts: Be wary of anti-bot checks that seem unnecessary or out of context for the website you are visiting. Legitimate websites typically use standard CAPTCHA or similar verification methods, while rogue sites may present unusual or suspicious prompts.

Lack of Standard CAPTCHA Elements: Look for signs that the anti-bot check is not a standard CAPTCHA. Legitimate CAPTCHAs often involve selecting specific images, typing distorted characters, or solving simple puzzles. If the verification process seems different or unfamiliar, it could be a red flag.

Excessive Urgency or Pressure: Rogue websites often use urgency or pressure tactics to trick users into quickly completing the anti-bot check. Be cautious if the website urges you to complete the verification process urgently or threatens consequences for not doing so.

Unusual Instructions or Language: Pay attention to the language and instructions provided during the anti-bot check. Rogue websites may use poor grammar, spelling errors, or confusing instructions that are uncommon for standard CAPTCHAs.

Request for Unnecessary Permissions: Be cautious if the anti-bot check requests permissions that seem unnecessary for the verification process. For example, if the check asks for permission to send browser notifications or access your location, it could be a sign of malicious intent.

Additional Information or Offers: Rogue websites may include additional information or offers alongside the anti-bot check, such as instructions to click "Allow" for notifications or to download software. Avoid interacting with such elements if they are not relevant to the verification process.
